We are thrilled to share a recent announcement by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) that directly impacts your ability to support our first responders while maximizing your tax benefits.
Donation Deadline Extended for 2024 Tax Receipts The CRA has extended the deadline for making charitable donations eligible for the 2024 tax year. Due to a four-week Canada Post mail stoppage, donations can now be made until February 28, 2025, and still qualify for a tax receipt for your 2024 taxes.
This extended giving season is a unique opportunity to further support the vital programs and services offered by the Ottawa First Responders Foundation (OFRF). Your donations go directly toward: • Enhancing mental health resources for first responders. • Supporting community initiatives that improve safety and well-being. • Providing educational tools and training to aid first responders in their essential work.
How to Make the Most of This Opportunity To ensure you don’t miss out, we encourage you to: 1. Make Your Donation Today: Visit ottawafrf.ca/donate to make a secure online contribution. 2.
